Imagination is our friend and our enemy.  Do you listen when God speaks, or do you interpret His word in your favor.  Here's how to tell the difference; God reaches into your heart while      Satan can only whisper in your ear.  So feel God and wear headphones.

  The act of forgiveness won't stop the pain, it merely allows the healing to begin.

Older Not Wiser

  Pity the children who don't see Him.  For they grow old wandering anxiously through a forest of loneliness and self-doubt.  Some find the light to guide them out from the shade, while others take asylum in a house of mirrors distorting the most beautiful view with their own reflection.

Heart Attack

   Unrelenting disappointment leaves your heart sick and your self esteem buried under an ever ascending mountain of discouragement.  Only God can move mountains, without him we continue to wander aimlessly in the dark caverns of despair.

Rear View Mirror

     When God calls us, why is it some have the strength and courage to follow, while others do not.  Today, someone told me they knew being in church made them happy, but when they drove away, they were miserable.
     They found the strength to turn their car around, but I couldn't, I just kept driving.  Now when I look in the rear view mirror, I see 24 years of missed opportunity and misguided purpose.
                  God is love, Satan is a professional salesman.

Success or Failure?

  The only thing that separates Success from Failure is our level of expectation.  Jesus walked only one path.  He did not walk too slow, nor did he hurry.  He just kept walking.

Three Degrees

    The earth is just three degrees from becoming a planet too hot or too cold to sustain life.
    The survival of every living organism depends on its relationship to another living source.  Science stands as testament of the human need for relationship.

INSANITY

         Has the world gone insane and left me standing?
Insanity is defined as the act of doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
         From my earliest childhood to my choice of career, I've spent my life trying to please somebody.  In every case, it has resulted in my being yelled at, criticized or avoided.
         And yet, my desire for approval still persists.
                                  ...Clearly, I'm the one who's insane.

We are gifted

     Why do we continue to look for God's purpose for our lives rather than explore the gifts he gave us?  

        The drive to succeed is a much longer trip than the walk of faith.  

Sticks and Stones

    When I was a child my mother lied to me.  She said,  "Sticks and stones will break your bones, but words will never hurt you."      Her words hurt.
               And although today, she still lives her own lie, I have forgiven her.

Faith or Prophecy

    Is our faith the product of great psychic prophecy, or were the early prophets gifted with foresight as a result of their profound faith?

   The foundation of Christianity is based on the birth, death and teachings of Jesus as foretold hundreds of years earlier and validated by eye witness accounts.  Yet, I find it so interesting that today any individual with psychic abilities, no matter how well documented, are generally discounted by the Christian community.  Even the word 'psychic' has a negative connotation.

    I believe we all possess the ability to see into the heart and spirit of one another, but we seldom choose to look.
